Opinion Outpost

One way I like to earn a little extra cash is to take surveys online. Opinion Outpost is one of my favorites. You only need 50 points to get a $5 amazon gift card. There are also other incentives, I usually wait until I hit 200 points and then request a $20 check. You aren't going to get rich taking surveys, but just think of what you could do with $20 and some coupons!

Free Plant Food at Lowes

Lowes has the Osmocote plant food on sale this week for just under $10.00 and there is currently a rebate for $10.00, which would make this free. I have had a lot of people ask me recently if there is a way to get a good deal on vegetables. My family uses the bountiful bakets co-op to get all of our fruits and veggies. Each basket contains about 6 fruits and 6 veggies and the cost is $15.00. (There is also a $1.50 handling fee each time and a $3.00 charge for your first time). You will then pick up your basket the following Saturday. You also need to provide your own way to transport your fruits and veggies home, I use my laundry basket. Saving Money on Household Cleaners

We all know how expensive cleaning products can be and when they go on sale they can be hard to get your hands on. It seems that if you are not one of the first 5 people in the store you won't be getting the cleaning products that are on sale. So I have started using homemade cleaners for various jobs. Here is my recipe for window cleaner:

1 cup rubbing alcohol
1 cup water
1 T vinegar
